Zions National Park

It was such beautiful weather yesterday we decided to go to Zions National Park for the day, which is only about an hour drive from our house. We had a picnic lunch and played at the park and then we went on a hike to the upper emerald pools. It was quite a little hike for the kids but they never complained. In fact we had to tell Dax to slow down and wait several times. It was beautiful once we got to the top. What a beautiful world we live in.

McCall turns nine

The Beach

We had a great time at Disneyland, but had just as fun a time at the Beach. There was a heat wave while we were down there so Even though it was the first part of January we were able to wear our swimsuits and it was not cold at all. Dallan walked the whole beach finding shells, Dax and McCall built things in the sand and Jayden buried Kenzie in the sand. I love the Ocean it is a beautiful place.

Disneyland

I have gone to Disneyland several times with my mom and sister in the past couple of years. The last time I went I said I would not go back to Disneyland without my family. So we went with my Sister and her family in January. We were a couple of blocks from Disney, so we were able to walk back and forth. Close to where we were staying was a place called the Anaheim Garden Walk which had restaurants, shopping and movie theatres. So except for our one day at the beach we didn't have to drive anywhere at all. The kids loved Disneyland. Kenzie liked California Adventure and her and Dax went on Screamin over and over. McCall liked Space Mountain and Dallan liked the Matterhorn and Pirates. I think Justin even enjoyed himself even though he thought he didn't like Disneyland. As for Me, I loved seeing the kids enjoy themselves.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We got a Wii, a new little four wheeler and the kids found out we were going to Disneyland. On Christmas Eve we went Bowling and spent the evening with Tregg, Yessi and their family.

Kenzie turns Twelve

SNOW DAY!!!!

Right before winter break it snowed here in Saint George. Since living in Ogden and Parowan it seemed a minor storm to me. But they cancelled school! They don't have the equipment for snow removal down here. The kids had a great time playing in the snow and building a snowman.
